Case study: Ronnie Biggs appealClient: Tranters Solicitors
In August 2004, Press Dispensary received a combined writing and distribution order from Tranters Solicitors (http://www.tranters.com), a Manchester-based firm that represents Ronnie Biggs, who is renowned for his part in the Great Train Robbery of 1963.
Tranters was appealing for Ronnie’s release from HMP Belmarsh in time for his 75th birthday. Tranters felt that Biggs, who is partly paralysed and can’t speak or eat, should be transferred to a lower security prison on compassionate and legal grounds. The resulting press release was imminently picked up by Sky News, BBC News and the Today programme. Vicky Rispin, of Tranters Solicitors comments, “Press Dispensary provides a low cost and effective solution to our PR needs. The media response we had was overwhelming and I would recommend their services which are particularly suited to small to medium sized businesses.” Visit the Tranters Solicitors press office |
