One such gem is the artist, Samarsingh Thakur. The newly opened Shades & Wood Art Gallery on Kensington Church Street, London, will be hosting his UK premier exhibition, starting on 5 September, 2007, to coincide with the 'India Now' festivals and celebrations.
- Ends - Notes for editors The Shades & Wood Art Gallery was launched in January 2007. The driving force behind the gallery is the dynamic 26 year old entrepreneur, Khozema Patanwala. Born and raised in Mumbai, Khozema has always had an affinity with the beauty and culture of India, and his dream of running his own art gallery has finally come true. From March to June 2007, Khozema spent time in India searching for quality emerging artists, and now has a portfolio of up and coming and established talents ready to explode on to the London art scene. At least five exhibitions have been planned for the rest of 2007.
