Press release from Press Dispensary

Press Dispensary - June 26, 2008 - Designer catering specialist, [http://www.nomadlondon.co.uk|Nomad London ]will be providing fine food, wine and hospitality services on May 30, 2008 at the annual summer party for international environmental consulting company Royal Haskoning. The prestigious event for 600 guests will take place on a gated green near the company’s headquarters at Dean Yard, London - which lies in the grounds of Westminster Abbey - and include dancing and musical entertainment courtesy of the Pete Allen Jazz Band.

Nomad has a reputation for working closely with each of its clients, providing first class food and service which reflect the core values and aspirations of the organisation. Specialisms include: working with renowned artists to create food art; themed formal dining; designer receptions (where the food shapes and colours cleverly capture the corporate brand); and cocktail receptions which are visually stunning as well as a treat for the taste buds.

Acclaimed as a world leader in creating sustainable interaction between people and the environment by using renewable energy sources such as wind, wave and tidal energy, Royal Haskoning’s brief to Nomad was to convey its commitment to its environmental objectives through the event’s theme and the choice of food served. Consequentially, guests will be presented with an array of tempting delights from locally sourced, organic and fair trade produce. The menu will include hot and cold canapés, caramelised beef fillet served with a sweet soy sauce, steamed baby new potatoes filled with Somerset brie and walnuts, and berry pipette with crème anglais and mini marshmallows. A Davenport white wine made from Sussex grown organic grapes will be served alongside the scrumptious spread, as well as a smooth organic Chilean red and an assortment of chilled Herefordshire farm fruit juices.

Traditional Mongolian yurt style pods hand crafted from sustainable waxed English oak and natural canvas will be erected in the grounds for the comfort of guests and to provide shelter should the weather be inclement.

Claire Rosser, head of sales and marketing, says: “This party is a great example of how a truly special event which reflects the values of a business can be created. It’s far more relevant than a run of the mill knees up and is a great way to get your message across, not to mention being a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all who attend.”
