Summer Arrives at Loch Fyne Restaurants
With a new summer menu and press review invitation
May 06, 2009, Press Dispensary. Loch Fyne Restaurants is launching a fresh menu for summer 09. Featuring mouth-watering seasonal additions and a new ‘grill’ selection alongside the classic signature dishes, the menu has something for everyone. Journalists are invited to visit their local Loch Fyne Restaurant and review the latest dishes.
From the grill, guests can enjoy fresh fish and shellfish as well as a classic rib-eye steak and a ‘Loch Fyne Surf & Turf’ – a fillet steak partnered by an impressively large tiger prawn. The presentation of the grill dishes is eye-catching: the food is delivered on a wooden board with a cup of chunky chips and a choice of béarnaise sauce or homemade mayonnaise.
As part of the company’s policy to source sustainable seafood from the UK, the starters and main courses feature an enticing choice of fish and shellfish from British waters. These include Anglesey sea bass, South Coast lemon sole, South Coast mackerel, Cornish squid and Loch Fyne mussels and scallops. Summer salads with piquant dressings and plentiful seafood platters for sharing complete the new menu.
Prices remain attractive with starters costing from £5 and mains from £8. At lunchtime, several main courses are reduced in price to encourage visitors over the summer.
