Marketscan Provides Mega Online Targeting Power with ListBuilder

ListBuilder has been well received in recent product trials. Its intuitive design eliminates the normal complexities of list building for direct marketers who wish to achieve quick and accurate targeting and avoid delays in receiving fresh data sets.

ListBuilder achieves simplicity and sophistication while retaining the advanced features expected from a successful list generating package - such as multiple contact selection, which is required to build the exact list required by the marketer. The user is guided smoothly through the various data selection stages using a single screen. A final count of selected contacts is always displayed so the impact of any change to the data selection can immediately be seen. The list building process is speeded up by the inclusion of auto word completion for locations and industries, while an extensive choice of job titles, job roles and options makes it easy for novice and advanced users alike to select the desired contacts in their target market.

Ideal for those who want to commence their direct marketing campaign straight away, the user’s chosen data selections are emailed from ListBuilder just minutes after an order is placed.

Furthermore, data accuracy is assured as contacts are selected from Marketscan’s underpinning business database, Megabase™, which is compiled and quality checked from five of the UK’s top data sources. To improve response levels and data quality, the database is updated monthly, which ensures that any downloaded data includes the latest updates.

For extra targeting power, ListBuilder allows the user to combine their existing mailing list with the data selection downloaded from Megabase™. The user’s own file can easily be uploaded to the back-end system and ListBuilder carries out a de-duplication process against any new selections. The package also includes the facility to exclude previously ordered data, so that users can achieve clean, ongoing campaigns with an entirely new set of targets every time.

At the heart of ListBuilder is an advanced count engine, developed by Marketscan’s programmers. This count engine is designed to function as an extension to any website, whilst maintaining the user’s  brand identity .
