Insight Mobile Awarded Digital Marketing Accolade
With clients ranging from the boutique Drakes Hotel in Brighton to the internationally celebrated D&D London (formerly Conrans Restaurants), Insight Mobile has over the last year carved out its own niche in leisure marketing by creating highly featured mobile apps which enhance a consumer’s experience of staying in a hotel or dining at a restaurant while at the same time offering the venue a new and successful form of promotion. Any customer with an iPhone or iPad simply downloads a free app from the Apple App Store to acquire a branded service rich in features which range from easy booking to mobile concierge facilities.

Consumers benefit from an Insight Mobile app in a number of ways. While travelling, they can be directed to the venue with pinpoint accuracy using GPS navigation or can easily arrange for a taxi to the venue to be ready and waiting for them at a station or airport. Menus, daily specials and special offers are all at the touch of a finger tip and the mobile concierge can offer the details of other facilities and places of interest or entertainment in the area. Meanwhile, the venue gains not only from the increased exposure and the goodwill of a customer who’s received an excellent and innovative service, but can, for example, market itself directly by sending out a message to everyone within a certain geographic radius, offering lunchtime specials or last minute seats for an event.

Tourism South East’s Beautiful South Awards are the region’s premier tourism accolade and in 2010 were granted to 19 businesses that demonstrated the highest standards in customer satisfaction. The awards were presented by BBC 1’s Nicholas Owen in front of an audience of 420 tourism professionals at Mercedes Benz World, Surrey, on the night of October 21, 2010.
